WOOT: combat 100

After another session on the cockroaches and getting another rune square and scimmy as drops i picked up Defence Lvl 75 which also moved me to 100 combat , which was one of my short term goals . Will have to think of something else now to achieve.

Bad News Good News

I did something stupid and died the other day. It was a matter of "just one more cockroach and I'll go and restock my food." It killed me , I tried to run away and it spat at me . I lost half a million worth of gear - that sucks. Anyway I bought new gear and have earnt back half of the lost cash . The good news is I got 80 attack and below is me getting 78 Strength. Currently 98 Combat - trying to get to 100 (a short term goal)

make 1400 levels

tonight I went up a hp level and an attack level which took me to 1400 total levels and Combat 97. trying to get to 100 combat - I can see the next 50 levels may be a bit of time.

One goal met.

One of my goals for a while was to get all skills onto the hi score board - after a magic level today (lots of camelot teleporting) and a couple of ranging levels (mossies) I achieved that goal. Overall Im about 273,000th and all skills in the top million. Next goal wont be too far away - thats to make combat 100.

Being at a lvl 99ing

An online friend Domin8tor2 achieved 99 woodchopping about a week ago and then a few days later made 99 Fletching. I was lucky enough to be at Seers Village when Dom fletched that last log. Thats me near the front in d longs. Congratz Dom.We then followed him back to Catherby where he bought his skill cape and performed his emote. It was a bit of a buzz being there - never seen it happen before.

Bronze Dragons

A slayer task took me in search of Bronze dragons - a bit tougher than Blues at Lvl 131 , but managed the task without dieing - thats always good.

Made it to 1350 levels

I decided to post every 50 levels - which I guess will get further and further apart as time goes on , but yes having spent a good session at the Fishing Guild I made it to Cooking 72 , which is my 1350th level.

getting in a bit of training.

Ive been getting in a variety of training trying to get to my next milestone of 1350 total levels, Here I am fishing for swordies and tuna at catherby.
Mining gold on Karamja - Ive also been busy mining gems at Shilo Village so I can craft Jewellery.
Mining Essense as I have been getting in a bit of Runecrafting as well.
Ranging Mossies - so that I can start wearing Blue DHide.
And finally getting in a few slayer levels here in the Slayer Mansion near Canifis.

Mainly so that I could get some dhide to craft with and also for the combat Xp - I went fighting green dragons in the Wildy. Its actually harder now than it used to be. PKers were annoying , now these revenants are downright nasty.

Runecrafting at Ourania Cave just for Fun

In the Ourania Cave west of Ardougne there is a Zamorak Rune crafting area where they have found a Chaotic Rune crafting alter. You dont need talismans , just pure essense and it will randomly create any sort of rune. Even ones you cant craft normally. Im getting about 400XP per trip.
This is 2 examples of the runes I got - ignore the 1000 pile - you need them to pay for the onsite banker. You can make bloods, laws, nats astrals and others.

I like a good fight

Ive been getting in a bit of combat by doing slayer assignments. Here I am on Level 4 of the Stronghold of security fighting Ankous with a group of other well dressed killers.

And on the Death Plateau fighting Trolls - it was difficult just getting there alive. Anyway - managed to do a slayer mission on them and complete the Death Plateau quest at the same time.

Here I am at Canifis killing werewolves with my trust whip - they have pretty decent drops - got a couple of Rune med helms fairly quickly.

Skilling up

Ive been doing a bit of random skilling. Below I am getting in a bit of farming at Catherby , but also at Seers and Ardougne.

Here I am on the right fishing at catherby - harpooning Tuna and Swordies.
Have also been doing smithing , Herblore and slayer. About to heqad off to Karamja for some gold mining and perhaps some gems at Shilo so I can do some more crafting.

Big Drop Party

I went to a big drop party - as you can see hundreds showed up for the 12 million gp drops - I didnt actually get a thing - I guess most people dont. but interesting looking at the variety of characters there

woot - fletching yews

Levels dont come around very often now - ive been chopping and fletching maples for a while so i can fletch yews and finally made it to fletching level 65. Ive been able to chop yews for ages , but not fletch them.

Here I am chopping yews at Seers Village with a master fletcher - he enjoyed chatting and was great for advice. I have been high Alching yew shorts for 240GP - not quite enough to cover the cost of the nats , but getting the odd magic level now too.
And with one of those nasty ents - i occassionally get caught by them and have to do a trip back to lumbridge to get my broken axe fixed.

new gear

Ive upgraded myself - now wearing D med helm and D legs fighting soldier cockroaches. These things are great they drop rune squares and scimmys, addy and mith ore and up to 26 laws at a time as well as about 6-7 other runes and mith med helms - well worth fighting for a while.

Getting in a bit of combat

Cilcium has been getting in a bit of combat training. Another point of note is I have just gone over 1300 levels.

Here I am fighting Catablepons in the stronghold of security.

and on the same level of the SoS - power levelling on Giant Spiders with a master of fire lighting.
And in the new Stronghold of Safety fighting Soldier Cockroaches - they have great drops - I have had rune square shields, rune scimmys , up to 24 Laws at a time, 44 fires, 4 deaths and mith and addy ores (noted) . They are level 83.

Cilciums First Posting

This is me , Cilcium. I have been playing runescape for about 6-7 months and decided to star blogging my experiences so that one day when I am #1 on the hiscore board ppl can look back at what I have done.

This is me fighting Mossies North of Ardougne.

I am currently Lvl 90 combat and below are the 1267 levels that I have acheived to date. I tend to get variety by training one lvl and then switching to train another - chopping trees for 3 weeks or mining solid for a month dont interest me.

My favourite stuff to do is

• fight mossies (good seed drops)
• fight Blue dragons in the Taverly dungeon
• fight chaos druids in the Taverly dungeon for Herb drops.
• fight flesh crawlers in the stronghold of security for herbs , runes and iron ore.
• I like herblore and quiet like a spot of fishing.

I dont like

• farming and construction
• PKers
• what the grand exchange has done to shop prices.
